Located on the rooftop of a new Bird development in downtown Toronto, this project features custom bleacher-style seating overlooking the main terrace. The design team needed a durable, sun-resistant material.

✨ Key Features & Design Elements

  • Rooftop Bleacher Design
    This multi-tiered seating structure was built into the rooftop’s landscape, offering a striking architectural feature and practical gathering space.
  • Hidden Fastener System
    The deck boards were installed using hidden fasteners and face plugs for a seamless, high-end finish free of visible screws or hardware.
  • Integrated Drainage System
    Wood sleepers were installed over the concrete base with proper spacing to allow for efficient water drainage, preserving the wood’s longevity.
  • Dual Staircase Access
    Two staircases on either side of the structure ensure easy access and flow, accommodating both casual seating and larger event use.
